Tiger's Eye is known for its unique golden-brown color, which is caused by the parallel arrangement of the fibrous mineral inclusions. The stone is also known for its chatoyancy, or "cat's eye" effect, which is caused by the reflection of light off of the parallel mineral inclusions.
